RETURN POLICY
All merchandise purchased from AEROCAD.COM may be returned within 90 days of receiving it, unless otherwise noted below. Additional guidelines are also noted below.
Returns must be accompanied by invoice, name, address and daytime phone.
There is now a 15% restocking fee and approval of returned merchandise.
Books, CD's, Video Tapes are NOT returnable.
Damages & Shortages
Shortage: AeroCad must be notified within 48 hours of receipt. Check packing list notations, noting if item has been back ordered.
Incorrect Merchandise: If the material you receive does not correspond with your order, notify us immediately referencing order and item. Hold incorrect items until instructions for return are received.
Breakage or Damage:
UPS: If the shipment has been tampered with, contact AeroCad immediately. Have the UPS driver note on delivery and SAVE the damaged carton for inspection.
PARCEL POST: Evidence of a parcel post shipment shortage; or, tampered shipment: Contact local postmaster who will then call and inspect the shipment. If insured, file a claim with local post office and notify AeroCad in writing giving details. Parcel Post tracing - 90 days from date of shipment.
TRUCK FREIGHT: DO NOT sign for shipments until inspection of damage is noted by delivery person. According to the contract terms and conditions of the carrier, the responsibility of AeroCad, Inc. ends at the time and place of shipment at which time carrier then assumes full responsibility. If loss or damage in shipment occurs, comply with the following: Common Carrier Delivery (truck or air freight) damage or loss discovered after delivery to consignee shall be reported to the delivering carrier at the closest terminal immediately upon discovery. Have the delivery person note on the freight bill the nature and extent of the showing damages. Keep container and its contents for inspection by carrier with a prepared statement of circumstances and facts showing damage or loss prior to delivery. Return the delivery receipt and inspection report directly to AeroCad, Inc.1595 Bluff Dr. Florissant, MO 63031-3701.
ALL DAMAGES: YOU MUST KEEP the carton and all contents until settlement is adjusted. If this precaution is not taken, we cannot assist you in recovering the amount of claim against the carrier.
Refunds for items returned within thirty days of the purchase date will be credited in the same form as the original payment type. Refunds for items returned more than thirty days after the purchase date will be in the form of a credit redeemable on your next purchase. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If you have an exchange for the same dollar amount as the original purchase, no additional shipping or handling charges will be incurred. Please mail your package in a prepaid, insured, traceable method to the address below.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES
· All apparel and accessories: Merchandise must be returned unworn, with tickets attached and accompanied by the original invoice.
BOOKS, MOVIES & VIDEO GAMES

CDs, DVDs, audiotapes, videotapes and video games: Must be returned unopened.

Books: Must be returned unused and unmarked.

Defective software, DVD’s and videos may be exchanged for the same item only.
ELECTRONICS, AVIONICS
· Computer hardware, Avionics, GPS units and all Electronic equipment: Must be returned with any included software within 15 days of receipt.
· Computer components and computer accessories: Must be returned within 45 days of receipt.
· Computer software: Must be returned unopened.
AEROCAD, INC. sub-assemblies for an experimental category amateur built aircraft subject to additional terms and conditions below.
AEROCAD, INC. MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE PARTS AND MATERIALS USED IN THE SUB-ASSEMBLIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK
The purchaser specifically acknowledges, understands and agrees that AeroCad, Inc., accepts no liability whatsoever for the airworthiness or structural integrity of the experimental amateur built aircraft constructed by the purchaser or constructed in part or in total by AeroCad, Inc. or someone else for the purchaser, as AeroCad, Inc. has no control over the actual materials, processes or workmanship used by the builder.
WARNING: The purchaser should understand that the aircraft is an Experimental category amateur built aircraft which requires his utmost attention to detail in construction and operation and failure to devote such attention may result in his death or serious injury. The purchaser expressly assumes full risk and responsibility for any damage resulting from construction or operation of the aircraft.

Returns Exceptions
Here are the exceptions to our general Returns Policy:
Oversize Items
Some heavy or large items that are identified as oversize on their item pages may be returned to a store or by freight shipping. Under some circumstances, you may be charged for return shipping. To return an item by freight, please email Customer Service. They will also be able to inform you of any return shipping costs.
Damaged or Defective Items
If an item you receive is damaged or defective you can return the item to an AEROCAD store or return it by mail for a full refund. If returning the item via mail, please follow the procedures listed in Return an Item by Mail, choose the appropriate return reason code from the dropdown and choose the option of refund or replacement.
Error-Related Refunds
If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for any applicable shipping and gift-wrapping charges.
Returning Products Containing Hazardous Materials
Due to safety hazards, special rules pertain to products that use flammable liquids or gases. In most cases, you will not be able to return the item through the mail.
Keep your original packaging for at least the first 90 days after purchase. Some returns might require an item be placed in its original container; otherwise, special ORM-D packaging from the post office will be needed. (A postal worker can assist you.)
If you need to return a product that might fall into the hazardous materials category, you can check under the department of the item you purchased. If you aren't sure which category applies to you, please email Customer Service for assistance.
